1962 Dodge Dart 440 Station Wagon
June 2006 Mopar of the Month
 |
Schuyler writes: Milt Simon, the owner of this fine 1962 Mopar, asked me to send some pics I took of his wagon to the 62 to 65 Web site. |
Some of the fine touches of this Poly powered Dodge include:
chromed and customized 16 inch Lincoln wheels,
combination back-up lights/ licence plate lights as used on 1963-1965 B Body wagons.
and a power bench seat.
The wagon has new paint and interior.
Soon to be installed is aftermarket air conditioning that was taken from
my car, since this is his new daily driver.
I am amazed how quickly Milt finished this restoration; it seems like only a few months ago he acquired the car!
Wagon owner adds: I am thankful I started out with a one-owner rust-free complete and unabused car, one that had all its records and original sales documents and the original pink slip when I bought her.
P.S. Thanks to Schuyler, for without his great advice and counsel I would have not been able to do the job I did.
Update January 2012
Jan writes from Germany: I bought this 1962 Dodge Dart station wagon in 2011 from a car dealer in Michigan.
The Mopar was exported and arrived in Germany, delivered to me on January 8, 2012.
I am very interested in the car history. The wagon has now a 413 BB engine and front disc brakes. If anyone has information about this Dodge between 2006 and 2011 it would be great to get some additional information about this Mopar. Please contact me at:
Thanks, Schuyler and Milt!
Milton has quite a neat daily driver! You do not see many of these cool wagons.
Re: update: Another cool Mopar now in Europe! Congratulations Jan.
