In March 2004 I purchased this
all-original California black plate 1964 Fury
from the original owners.

1964 Plymouth Fury speedometer
The Fury has only 80,755
miles on it and performed almost flawlessly
(fuel pump needed replaced) on it's journey
from California to Ohio.

The Fury averaged 21-22 mpg.

How can you beat that!

1964 Plymouth Fury driver side front I've already added the
Torque Thrust wheels up front,
and steel wheels out back to
give it the Super Stock
nostailgic look.

(a 426 wedge would be nice!) between the fenders and
retain the push button transmission.

Thanks for the great Web site. Mopar To Ya!

Update September 2004:

My 1964 Fury ran at the 2004
Norwalk Chrysler Classic in Ohio.

The Fury has the original /6
in it yet (not for long!)
and ran a best ET of
20.02 @ just over 67 mph.

The tranny never came
out of 2nd gear! :)

Nice Fury, Rick!

The original owners took very good care of the Plymouth!

Your turn!   smile!

The Fury is a great example of a reminder to buy as nice of a car as you can afford to start with. You located a fine Mopar there, \6 or V8!
