1965 Dodge Coronet 500

February 2005 Mopar of the Month

Ralf writes: I bought my 1965 Dodge Coronet 500 in 1987.

I more or less saved it from going to the junkyard.

I then spent seven years restoring this one.

1965 Dodge Coronet 500, driver side front Living in Sweden makes it hard finding parts,
so I made three trips over to the States collecting parts.

1965 Dodge Coronet 500, 383 engine When I got the Dodge all the major parts,
like the drivetrain, were gone, so I put in what
I wanted: a 383 + 4-speed, cop brakes, H.D.
suspension, swaybar and, to top it off,
a S/S scoop.

With a new house and a large garage I think the 500's happy sitting beside my other toy: a Dodge Coronet 500 convertible.

Thanks for a great site....

Thanks, Ralf!

And thanks for saving this 500 from the crusher!   smile!
