Restoration work on my
1964 Plymouth Fury
was was not done in time for
2003 Carlisle or the 2003 Mopar Nationals. |
The 426 Max Wedge specs:
+30 Wiesco 10:8 compression,
ported & polished stage II heads,
3705 carbs, & dual point tach drive
Max Wedge distributor.
The Plymouth features a 3000 stall 727 with manual valve body, 3:23 axle, Weld wheels, Cure-Ride 90/10 front shocks, chrome 50/50 rear shocks, and 3 inch exhaust with Dyno-Max mufflers.
I mentioned 2003 Carlisle and the 2003 Mopar Nationals because my 1963 Fury won 2nd at 2003 Carlisle after winning 1st two years in a row. The 1963 also won 3rd at the Mopar Nats in the 1960-1970 Street Modified class. Not bad for driving 450 miles to compete against 11 trailer cars.
