Built by Herb McCandless, run by Jim Hale and later the Rettig Brothers. Former SS/BA or B, currently 426 w/ single Holley on Indy manifold. 1964 Plymouth Savoy  1964 Plymouth Savoy Hemi


New Mopar block, Eagle rods, 
12 1/2 to 1, -559 casting heads, Erson roller.

727 w/ Art Carr transbrake, 8 inch Continental 5500 Super Stock converter. 
5.13 Dana 60. 4-link car, but has mounts for Super Stock Springs.
2 1/2% car, boxed Hemi K-frame, correct shock towers, 
and 6 cylinder front suspension and drums.

20 passes from fresh engine (bearings, rings, heads)

Runs easy 10.60's at 127 at sea level, 
10.90's at 120 at Las Vegas.
