In March 2004 I purchased this
all-original California black plate 1964 Fury
from the original owners.
The Fury has only 80,755
miles on it and performed almost flawlessly
(fuel pump needed replaced) on it's journey
from California to Ohio.
The Fury averaged 21-22 mpg.
How can you beat that!
| I've already added the
Torque Thrust wheels up front,
and steel wheels out back to
give it the Super Stock
|The \6 is not pretty but it runs like a top!|
|Future plans are to put a big block torque monster
(a 426 wedge would be nice!) between the fenders and
retain the push button transmission.
| I'm undecided as to put a hood scoop on the car at this time, but you never know! :)
Thanks for the great Web site. Mopar To Ya!
|My 1964 Fury ran at the 2004
Norwalk Chrysler Classic in Ohio.
The Fury has the original /6
in it yet (not for long!)
and ran a best ET of
20.02 @ just over 67 mph.
The tranny never came
out of 2nd gear! :)
