This 1964 Plymouth Savoy is my pride and joy.

The Mopar started out life as a /6, three-on-the-tree, tan 1964 Plymouth Savoy with brown interior. Five years later, the Savoy is a black-with-red-interior street terror Superstock clone, with a 440 based Max Wedge and Hemi four speed.

During those five years the Savoy was completely dismantled and reincarnated to be better, stronger, faster by me.

Running gear: 1969 440 .030,
11:1 compression,
.484-.284 Mopar purple cam,
p4529996 Max Wedge heads,
2402726 crossram,
3447s carbs,
1963 Max Wedge exhaust manifolds
dumping into TTI Max Wedge
three inch exhaust.
1964 Plymouth Savoy, engine A 1968 GTX donated the 18 spline four speed,
and a 1965 Satellite donated the 8 3/4 rear
with a 742 case 4.30 SureGrip and Moser axles
transplant the power to Hoosier DOT Quicktimes on
American Racing Torque Thrust "D"s.

The Plymouth has a Gary Ball Super Stock interior package,
complete with rear seat delete.

The Plymouth is a bad dream to anyone at a late night stoplight.

Completing this project would not have been possible without all the help from the 1962 to 1965 Mopar Mail List Clubhouse group:
thank you all for all your input and help during the build, and keep bringin' 'em back!

Quite a head turner, Tracey!

Great job!   smile!
