1963 Dodge Dart 170

Works in Progress

I sure enjoy driving my Dodge Dart 170! It’s the only one like it I’ve seen in three or four counties.

The Dart has 74,000 actual miles, pushbutton auto, optional heat, seatbelts, and AM radio. The Mopar doesn’t have power brakes or steering, something that I wasn’t used to!

I look forward to fixing the Dart up over the next year or so.

I plan to replace the main seals, run an Offy 2X1-BBL intake manifold, split the factory exhaust manifold and run a larger 2 1/4" exhaust system, as well as install a cam from a ’71-’77 slant six. I also want to run 14 inch rims and use the factory dog dish hubcaps, fix the little bit of rust, and paint everything Lava Red (I think that's what it’s called) like I saw on a new Chrysler 300 C.

She isn’t fast, but that doesn’t matter much to me!
Thanks Chris!

Nice driver and very much a fun ride to enjoy!  smile!
