Since I was the original purchaser I still have the original build sheet, Certicard, and window sticker.
The original purchase price was $3761.30.

The body and paint and interior are all original.

The Mopar was last inspected in 1974, so it has been in my garage since then accumulating dirt and junk on top and inside of it,
until two years ago when I started looking for a number’s matching engine block.

No such luck, but I did manage to find a 1965 426 HP block with a casting date of August of 1964. Since my car was built in
January 1965, the engine should be cast in November or December of 1964 to be true numbers matching.
But at least I have a 1965 block built before the car.

The engine is the big change: 1965 426 wedge HP bored to about 430 ci and all Edelbrock top end,
connected to a three inch exhaust system with Flowmaster mufflers.

According to Chrysler Corporation there were a total of 44
1965 Plymouth Satellite Convertibles built with a 426 engine and
a 4 speed manual transmission.

This Plymouth is one of them, and I doubt if there are many remaining.

Thanks Skip!

Great survivor now with lots of torque!   smile!
