1963 Dodge Polara

Russ writes: My 1963 Dodge Polara, a 4 year “work in progess”, is a true street/strip car.

After 40 years of “bow ties” the switch has kept my “car disease” raging!

Shown here is the Mopar’s first time outside after a repaint.

The Polara is a California car so the rust was confined to the driver’s cowl.

The most stressful part of the whole project was finding clips and installing the
“four thousand” pieces of stainless trim back on the car. I hope it stays
on the car the first time I drive it down the road!

Update field report: The 360 powered Dodge went 12.20 @ 109 at the track on April 2, 2006...and the trim did not blow off!

Thanks Russ!

Very nice!

When joining the Mopar ranks a 1963 Polara is a great way to go!   smile!
