'62 to '65’s at Mopars at the Red Barns

July 23, 2005

Gilmore Car Museum, Hickory Corners, Michigan

Dick writes: My 1964 Plymouth (shown in front of the rear view of the 1962 Dodge Polara 500 convertible) has received 3rd place over the years in this show. This year no placing at all. However, that is not why I go. It is always a bonus to win, but I just have a great time and lots of people come up and talk to me about my 1964 Plymouth.

At the show I met some people who work at Chrysler. They said they noticed that a lot of people looked my '64 over and came to talk to me. I had 34 cars in my class. They changed classes over the years and now it is 1962 to 1967 Plymouths.

I had a great time at the show and it was a beautiful day and worth every second of the show. Mopars at the Red Barns is an annual event on the Gilmore museum grounds, just North East of Kalamazoo, Michigan.
