1963 Plymouth Savoy

Bob writes: My 1963 Plymouth Savoy 2 door sedan went on a rotisserie and the underneath scraped, blasted.

1963 Plymouth Savoy, passenger front side view The whole car was painted Viper Clear Kote Red.

Starting with an excellent California body meant that no trunk or floor pans were in need of replacement.

Everything on the Savoy is new, redone, or replaced.

The nostalgia 450 cubic inch engine is a crossram with new Carter carbs, linkage, bracket and cable. Started as a 1970 short block, steel crank, Ross pistons, Comp 590 cam, Milodon pan, windage tray, high volume oil pump, 906 heads reworked 2.14-1.81 s/s valves, bronze guides, 10 locks, Comp springs, Sharp roller rockers, Stage 2 porting. 1963 Plymouth Savoy, Cross Ram engine view

Push button 727 transmission, manual valve body. 5.0 lever, new style front shaft, slip yoke tail shaft, Turbo Action j-convertor.

Everything listed so far has less than 1/2 hr run time.

New drive shaft and joints. Later style 8 3/4 rear end 4:56-1 clutch SureGrip. 742 case s/s springs, frame tied. New dual master cylinder, brake lines, gas lines, brakes, hoses, cylinders, shocks.

1963 Plymouth Savoy, interior view Interior / dash redone by Special T’s, new carpet, head liner, door panels, brake, gas pedals. Door handles dash knobs. Plus lots more.

The Plymouth is a beautiful nostalgia car, and everything works. The Savoy could be driven on the street.

Update 2009: Bob sold the Savoy sometime in 2004. He was asking $26,000.00 then.

Thanks, Bob!

Looks like a beautiful Plymouth indeed!

Too bad you need to sell it, but someone will get to really enjoy this Mopar!   smile!
