1964 Plymouth Fury Convertible

Scott writes:

I finally got the Fury washed and waxed (I've had it since September 2003). I always thought the early B bodies looked great, but I wanted a convertible with a four speed. Never thought I would find anything decent I could afford. I saw this car on E-bay in Sept. of 2002, but didn't have the funds.

When I did have the money it was gone.

I decided to go to Carlisle in July, and sure enough there it was, for sale by the new owner! The car is from Missouri, supposedly in someone's basement for 17 years.
1963 Plymouth Fury convertible She's originally had a a 361 with a 3 speed. Changed to a 383 four barrel, 4 speed, 3.23 SureGrip all out of a 1965 Coronet. Car has Cordoba front discs. The paint is Chestnut metallic, with a custom copper interior. Car runs and drives great!

So far I've gone through the front end, new rear brake lines, differential gasket, rotors, motor mounts and a new steering column.

She's no show car but I do get plenty of smiles and thumbs up when I'm out drivin!

Thanks Scott!

Good things come to those with patience! Cool 4 speed 'vert!  smile!
