1965 Dodge Coronet 500

Works in Progress

Mick writes:   I bought this Mopar after many years
of looking for a 1965 Dodge. I had a
1965 2 door post w/426 street wedge I
bought new, got rid of it and always
wanted another. This Dodge was bought
from Chevy guy who did not fully realize
what he had -- my good fortune and good price!

The Dodge's body is very good, and
the drive train has many race pieces in it:
440 w/Torker, 750dbbl pump, Crane Fireball
ignition, 484-284 Mopar cam, pocket ported
heads, 933 valve springs, stainless valves,
headers, Flowmaster stainless exhaust,
sub frames tied, SureGrip 4:10.

The interior needs complete restoration,
so I am starting on that next.

The 500 runs good: very strong!

Good catch Mick!

The wait was worth it to snag that Dodge!  smile!
