My Dodge restoration
project is underway.

We have stripped the factory undercoating off by hand this past winter. The underside and fender wells and engine compartment are currently being media blasted and epoxy coated. The body will be plastic blasted primed and sent to the body shop for finish.

We are planning to install disc brakes, heavy duty springs, rear sway bars. The interior floor and front firewall have been cleaned and sealed with Por 15. We also have a 727 trans with shift kit and 2600Rpm stall converter. The third member has been changed to a 3:55 Sure Grip. Slowly but surely we will assemble it altogether.

We intend to make the Dodge more of a “driver” than anything else.

Update November 3, 2005
