Works in Progress

This 1965 Dodge Coronet is my first ever Mopar project.

I purchased the car in August 2004 from a long time friend, Jack Morton. Jack belongs to The Brat Pack a local Mopar club in Tampa, Florida.
We struck a deal on the old gal, he keeping the race Hemi and transmission for his 1969 Roadrunner, and I got the chassis and the rest of the drive train.

Since August 2004 I've had the car media blasted
and sent to a friend's shop for metal fabrication
and replacement.

So far the trunk floor, interior floor, rear quarter panel extensions, lower fender extensions and core support have been meticulously replaced.

Next on the list are front lower quarter panels, left side inner and outer cowl, door skin fabrication, and front and rear window surrounds.

She's starting to look like a car again and I'll keep ya posted on her progress!

By the way, this is the second appearance for this particular '65 on this Web site:
The Dodge first appeared on September 9, 2001 as a Mr. Norm A990 clone.

Thanks Jason!

Excellent project and a perfect way to join in the Mopar hobby fun!   smile!
