1965 Plymouth Barracuda

Works in Progress

1965 Plymouth Barracuda, front J. Hausel Inc Street & Strip Performance
writes from Sweden:
My 1965 Barracuda is still in progress.

During 10 years the car has been a daily
driver in the Summer and at the 1/8 mile
drag strip, with a best et of 9:41.

The Plymouth has a 318 (bored 0:30), M1 intake, 600 carburetor, 8 3/4 (3:23)rear.
The Barracuda left the factory with an 8 3/4 and with front disc brakes.

The gas tank was replaced with a fuel cell in the trunk with a Holley pump,
and a Pro Shot system hides under the carburetor, but it never worked that well.

1965 Plymouth Barracuda at drag strip I changed the 904 to a 727 and rebuilt it with
a manual valve body and a 10 inch converter.

During the 2004-2005 Winter the Fish is getting a new NOS fogger system,
3:91 in the rear and Hedman fenderwell headers.

Update

1965 Plymouth Barracuda engine compartment, in progress  1965 Plymouth Barracuda: How do I get these headers to fit?  Hum... How do I get these headers to fit?

Update

I got the headers installed, but it demanded a lot of work.

I have just welded the inner skirts back on and have a lot of fuel and nitrous plumbing left to install. I'm still waiting for my new Demon carburetor and MSD ignition system from the U.S. I unfortunately had to remove some brake lines on the left side for some clearance.
