1965 Chrysler Newport

I love this car. Bought it 10 years ago from an old lady in Marysville, WA

usin' junk parts! Just kidding, it's got good parts in it now!
1965 Chrysler

The Chrysler’s been a really fun car to own, and the longer I own it, the more I notice people looking at it as I drive by!

I installed a .30 over 440 engine from a ’68 Charger in the Mopar, along with a Weiand Team-G dual plane intake, topped with a 750 double pumper Holley. I ditched the cable shift 727 in favor of a more modern version with a mild stall converter. A B&M floor shifter is installed, along with ’65 Barracuda bucket seats. The Newport now wears 15 inch Chrysler Rally wheels.

I also put a custom “Iron Maiden” poster wallpapered on the inside of the trunk. (That gets some looks from the folks at the grocery store as I load it up with sundries!)

The Chrysler will fry the tires like nobody’s business, and I really enjoy sucking ’64 Impalas through my carb and blowing Vegas out the 2.75 inch dualies. The Mopar scares the Heck out of the occasional belly button brand “X” Camaro driver too!

Thanks Jimmi!

Fun ride!   smile!
