1965 Dodge Coronet 440

I haven’t had this Dodge that long but wish I had
found a car like this before I wasted my money on
'Chevs and Pontiacs'.

Anyhow, the Dodge has original paint and interior. I have the
broadcast sheet which was under the rear seat, and the Mopar
even still has the old trunk mat with a few cracks, of course.

Motor is a 383 with Edelbrock carb, manifold, cam, Mallory
dual point dizzy, four into one headers with blank offs,
Flowmaster mufflers, a 727 transmission, I think with a small
aftermarket stall, and 8 and 3/4 differential with 3.91 SureGrip
center, (I just put that in myself, boy did that make it get out the hole
a lot faster.) The Dodge rolls on a set of TorqueThrust II’s
with BF’s all’round.

Hope folks find it interesting to see such fine cars down here in Australia!

I can’t wait to take part in our nostalgia drag series: it kicks off very soon. I hope to get at least a 14 second pass out of the Dodge.

Thanks, Deane!

Yes, there is something special about these Mopars!

Especially in Australia where very few roam the roads.

Enjoy, Mate!   smile!
