Left shows my 1962, a great friend of mine - Tony, without whom the transaction would have been a nightmare (on left) - and me. Right shows Tony and the '62 heading for restoration.
I have the grille and all the stainless. The body is very
solid and appears to still have the original paint, which
is still quite shiny! My (auto body wizard) friend Tony was
impressed and he's very demanding, so that was good enough for me.
The car was purchased from a fellow in Ohio who had dragged
it up there from North Carolina about four years ago.
So now Tony and I have dragged it back to North Carolina.
I'm thinking possibly 413 Max Wedge clone.
I've been waiting since 1967 to own one so I
guess I'll sort out a plan now!
