1965 Dodge Coronet

Works in Progress

Johnny B. writes:
I bought my 1965 Dodge Coronet seven years ago as an AFX pro street
project and started gathering parts for the changeover.

The rear wheels were made by Bart Wheel Co. and are 18 inches wide:
33X 22.5X 15 Hoosier tires measure 23.5 inches wide through the side
walls when mounted on the 18 inch wide wheels.

1965 Dodge Coronet, dash I had Carolina Custom make up the dash assembly filled with Autometer Gauges.

I plan to drive this car on long trips and will use the bench seat which has been recovered with gray and black tweed.

I have a 472 cubic inch crate Hemi for power along with a Hemi 4 speed for FUN.

A 60 Dana with 4:10 gears will round out the powertrain.

Lime Twist Green with Ram Charger stripes in Pearl White is the planned color scheme.

Look forward to the progress!   smile!
